We’ve heard this before in intimate discussions amongst friends who feel that if people wear certain hairstyles that are known to African-American culture, it would hinder their chances in corporate America. What are your thoughts on the recent case with Hampton University, banning locks and cornrows for their MBA-program students? Is it really a bad idea, or should corporate America change their perspective on looks?
Oh Kim Kardashian has stunned us with her love of having more body in her hair than usual with her new curly wig. We honestly like the way it looks on her besides she hasn’t tried much with her hair, but layers and coloring it blonde.
So, maybe giving Nicki Minaj a host on American Idol is a great idea. She has shown her worth to the media and isn’t a musician, but understands what sells. And this was her surprise to the fans after canceling a few tour stops. This should be good especially since Mariah Carey is on board and is so soft spoken.
Oh we can’t forget the gorgeous Marsha Ambrosius, a former member of the English Soul/R&B duo Floetry, she released her first solo album Late Nights & Early Mornings on March 1, 2011. She rocks those luscious curls that we all want on a regular. Try our Curly Addiction 3B Curl (closest to Marsha’s hair) or the Mongolian Kinky Curly to get the best look. She is turning 34 today and we wish her the best.
