Rice was the first female African-American secretary of state, as well as the second African American (after Colin Powell), and the second woman (after Madeleine Albright). Rice was President Bush’s National Security Advisor during his first term, making her the first woman to serve in that position. Before joining the Bush administration, she was a professor of political science at Stanford University where she served as Provost from 1993 to 1999. Rice also served on the National Security Council as the Soviet and East European Affairs Advisor to President George H.W. Bush during the dissolution of the Soviet Union and German reunification.

Cecilia Blakey has been a group-exercise instructor for 20 years. She teaches aerobics at the YWCA in St. Paul, Minn.’s Selby-Dale neighborhood, which has a significant black population.
“I’d love to have a class full of black women, but the majority of my following is not,” she said. “Sometimes a few will start, but they don’t hold up long-term, and I’d say 90 percent of it’s the hair.”

The closures advertised on our site are the reflection of professional installation without the use of bonding glue. Half the battle of getting this flawless natural look is, yes a naturally distributed density, but coupled with a great stylist. So once you purchase your closure, be sure to research around for a stylist that has some experience in closures.
The dimensions of the small closure are 2 ½ by 4 inches and the large closure dimensions are 5 ½ by 5 inches. Both of these dimensions are in a horse shoe shape and can be sewn or glued in depending on where you wear your part majority of the time. Make sure to use a measuring tape and measure out the dimensions to EXACTLY where it’ll fall on you. Everyone has different head size so where it’ll cover on your own head will vary.
Our closures have the ability for giving a freestyle part and depending on the size you select you will have either a smaller or larger parting range.

Sassy Remy™ Closure: Our Sassy Remy™ collections already come processed with texture and color. We strongly recommend deposit colors ONLY (this means going darker than the original color but not lighter).
Generally, it is advised to make any major color changes before installment. This is because the hair might have a slightly different texture or porosity compared to the weft hair. Also, it is quite difficult to completely wash off the residue from color processes on installed closure. You DO NOT want the chemical residue on your scalp which can cause serious scalp injury also resulting in hair loss.
